An original screenplay by Jenny Good and Justin Mooney, Horizontal is a brilliant character-driven, light-hearted drama shot primarily in one location.

When failed writer Zayne Williamson comes home to find her boyfriend cheating on her, she decides to redirect her life. The first step: finish the novel she cast aside years ago. Rigidly focused, she tries to eliminate all distractions from the outside world, her only company being her written words and the characters therein. A good writer brings their characters to life and Zayne is finding out just how good she is. Good characters often tell the author how the story should unfold, but when the line of the story and real life gets blurred and the lack of human contact becomes too big a cross to bear, her self-imposed exile turns into a race against sanity to finish her story.
