Norm Novitsky, Executive Producer
Norm Novitsky majored in Organizational Executive Management and Marketing, and his early career focused in these areas. In 1987 he became president of Hanover Mortgage and brought about its highest-ever revenues. Following his time at Hanover, he started what became one of the largest independent mortgage companies in Southern California. In 1992, after extensive R&D in the banking services industry, he founded Nationwide Title Clearing with four employees, and by 1996 the company had become one of the leading service companies of its kind. A major player today, Nationwide Title Clearing now boasts a staff of over two hundred. In 1998 Novitsky returned to school to study filmmaking, where he produced and directed three short independent films before setting off as an independent film producer. As head of BluNile Films, he just completed executive-producing and producing a teen horror suspense thriller,
Pray for Morning, to be released in 2006, and is also producer of several other projects including an animation project, a documentary and another feature film.
Justin Workman, Producer
Justin Workman is currently a producing partner at BluNile Films, where he oversees acquisition, development and production of the feature film and television divisions. Before teaming up with BluNile Films, Workman served as a producer on the upcoming feature film,
Pray for Morning, and was involved as a producer on several other feature films in various stages of development. Prior to his work as an independent feature film producer and his involvement in
Pray for Morning, Workman served as Production Executive at Morgan-Taylor Entertainment, overseeing the production of several television and commercial projects. Previous to that, Workman was Talent Manager and Director of Development at Joel Stevens Entertainment where he personally managed the careers of several successful actors and oversaw the development of feature film and television projects. Justin Workman comes from a background in investment banking and holds a Bachelors Degree in Finance with honors from Georgetown University.
Lucy Quigley, Executive Vice President for Administration
The current executive team at BluNile Films is rounded out by Lucy Quigley, Executive Vice President for Administration, who is also sometimes described as “BluNile’s Secret Weapon.” Lucy oversees everything behind the scenes, including corporate finances, coordination and finalizing of contracts, pushing through film and television production matters, and legal liaison. In her spare time, she also oversees Human Resources and the company’s computer and communications networks. She has been with BluNile since the beginning and is an integral part of its operation. Lucy holds a B.A. in English from the University of Redlands.
